  1. In a first of its kind for the state of Nagaland, two film personalities Ms. Kivini Shohe and Ms. Andrea Kevichüsa, will be representing Nagaland at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2023.

On 8 May 2023, Pakistani-Canadian author, translator, and storyteller, Musharraf Ali Farooqi, who translated Siddique Alam’s short story collection ‘The Kettledrum and Other Stories’ from Urdu to English, won the inaugural edition of the Armory Square Prize for South Asian Literature in Translation.
